Message from the Principal

    It was great to see many parents and guardians at our Open House during Education Week. Students reported that they were excited to share their learning with members of their family.
    This month we will be celebrating Caretakers’ Day, as well as Support Staff Day. We thank Mrs. Gardner and Mrs. Perreault for all they do to keep our school looking so great. We also thank our Educational Assistants, Miss Hopcroft, Mrs. Friesen, Mrs. Merritt, Ms. McKnight
and our Youth Counsellor, Mrs. Clarke for everything they do on behalf of the students at our school.
    We had some great news for our breakfast programme this month. Niagara Inflatables, through the Education Foundation of Niagara, donated $1000 to our programme. We are truly grateful for the generosity of this community partner.
    We are entering one of the busiest times of the school year. Track and Field, EQAO testing, year-end trips, graduation and report cards will keep us very busy. We ask parents and guardians to help us keep students focused right to the end of these action-packed final
months.
    As we celebrate Mother’s Day, let’s take the time to thank our moms, grandmas or the person in our lives who is like a mother to us, for all that they do for us. As much as we need and love them, they feel the same way about us. Enjoy!
